OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Manage Warehousing (reception, storage, line replenishment, packaging and external and internal shipments) and Logistics activities in coordination with appropriate local Operations.
Offload and receive materials in warehouse, prepare for inspection
Store the materials in appropriate conditions
Manage inventory, with a maximum accuracy
Manage non-conformities detected during inspection
Develop Logistic performance through the improvement of warehouse(s) processes, competencies and KPI in coordination with local Operations that support the company objectives.
Measure and challenge the performance of the Logistic activities.
Ensure that personnel operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies
Develop appropriate organisational structure that supports the Logistic activities.
Develop and provide appropriate training for team members to enable them to improve and achieve their objectives whilst effectively contributing to business performance.
Deploy the processes / IT tools in Warehouse, and prepare required documentation
Ensure that 3PL operates in compliance with EHS and E&C Alstom policies
Measure and challenge the performance of the 3PL
Key user for CMMS / GSI to ensure the success of the implementation and consistent using of the ERP system without any issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure SC milestones are met and to ensure on time line feeding
Manage stocks and control inventory
Set up methodology to best perform (OTD) on time deliveries to project sites and reduce logistics costs. Maintain the company objective and Operational KPI.
Follow Alstom’s environment, safety, health standards and apply Alstom’s code of ethics for all aspects of the job in daily practice.
An accurate inventory traceability and quantity dictates 100% matching physical Vs system material code & quantity in that specific location.
Work as team member to show positive co-productive and efficient values to organize and execute operation

Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION
B E / B.Tech Mechanical or Electrical
IT Skills: SAP

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
15 to 18 years of Experience in Supply chain – warehosuing and logistics
Handling the warehouse activity
Ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics
Ability to summarize and focus on the critical issues
