Overview of job
In this a senior-level position, you will be overseeing projects and working in tandem with the Planning team. You will work with all media channel disciplines-offline and online, concentrating on strategy, insights and the implementation of research.

This role reports to the Head of Strategy and Planning

Measures of success –
In three months, you would have:
*Provide team and client with key insights into media developments and trends and synthesize information into a comprehensive and cohesive presentation.
*Learned all syndicated research tools and systems (e.g. Nielsen, TNS, MWB.)
*Learned proprietary company tools and systems
In six months, you would have:
*Continued to hone strong writing (preparing proposals, summaries, POVs, questionnaires, discussion guides, research write-ups, etc.) and presentation (presenting key research findings, both internally and externally) skills
In 12 months, you would have:
*Led sessions to stimulate and inspire new ideas and directions which come to life in award-winning work.
*Developed new and existing POVs on strategy and planning for the account/brand that will lead to enhancing brand marketing mix
Responsibilities of the role:
*Lead Business Planning by managing day-to-day and on-going projects and various account-based needs.
*Understand the importance of consumer/media interaction dynamics in developing innovative media activation ideas.
*Develop insights relevant to specific communications needs/challenges as they relate to targets, media channels, brands, products, categories and business objectives.
*Independently and creatively gather relevant and pertinent information from various sources in a timely manner.
*Move beyond summaries to develop project-specific implications and future recommendations.
What you will need:
*6+ years of insights, media planning, media research, account planning and/or marketing research experience, working with general population consumer audience.
*Active interest in popular culture, current events and advertising/media.
*Evidence of digital literacy and participation.
*Thorough knowledge (or ability to develop thorough knowledge) of syndicated research tools and systems (e.g. Nielsen, TNS, MWB, etc.), proprietary company tools and systems (e.g. Mindware, Encounters, etc.).
*Clear understanding of what the key issues/questions are that need to be addressed.
