Responsibilities
In tender phase:
Create the detailed tender schedule based on internal standards and templates, gap analysis, Bid Technical Manager inputs, Metiers commitments and PDO (Project Development Organisation) tender strategy.
Define tender preparation schedule and monitor until the submission of the tender
Contribute to deliver on time all requested schedule deliverables.
Identify and highlight the critical paths and risks linked to the development schedule and propose and animate the optimization & mitigation actions along with the team
Contribute to ensure compliance of the project strategy with the contractual requirements.
In project or program execution:
Build the detailed Development schedule from templates, contractual targets and data provided by Project stakeholders.
Provide to Chief of Development a clear vision of the Development schedule critical paths to be monitored
Propose the development schedule baseline and ensure its acceptance by all Project stakeholders as a baseline
Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders commitments and manage the schedule interfaces between Train Level and Sub-systems via periodic sessions.
Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
Perform schedule analysis & trade-offs to close identified gaps or schedule issues.

Deliver Physical Progress KPI of the Development schedule, contributing with Project Planning Manager to Earned Value Management.
Apply Standard project planning guidelines of Alstom and promote and practice best practices in the team
Mentor other team members and extend support when needed
Organize return of experience (REX) and improvements, sharing best practices once in a year with the team
Main required competencies
Engineering degree.
Experience
Project management and engineering background.
Used to work with internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality and their interfaces.
8-12 years minimum experience as PrPM / SSM / Planning Manager / Project Operation Planning Manager / Industrial Planner / Construction Planner
Experience in industry, knowledge of railway products and systems is a plus

Agility to juggle with schedules simulations and various scenarios and changing project goals.

Tools: Good knowledge of Excel, Mastering one or several scheduling software (MS Project/Primavera
