Job Description
• Develop Bulkhouse web experience strategy ensuring that company’s online presence supports its business objectives.
• Create, develop and manage accurate and appealing content on the company website. Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties. Copyedit and proofread all web content.
• Work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new developments. Overall responsibility for quality of website and company’s online presence.
• Drive growth through focused user experience strategy. Outline complete website development and updation activity and steer the team in developing a unique and engaging digital experience.
• Oversee daily front end website operations, responsible for customer-facing areas of the website including onsite search, navigation, landing pages, customer account, checkout, and others.
• Responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters, online outreach campaigns, blogs, social media posts, video content etc. Ensure content is consistent and linked across multiple consumer touch points including email, online advertising and brand websites.
• Oversee the job done by the developers, content writers, content development executives etc.
• Website updation and display based on leads from Sales, vendor development and brand marketing teams. Generate variations in content for consumer segments across multiple geographical locations.
• Manage website navigation structure ensuring appropriate product categorization. Suggest internal operational workflow changes to streamline and ensure a compelling presentation of products online.
• Work with marketing team to develop and execute SEO/SEM strategies. Execute site needs for marketing events and promotions on-time, overseeing web asset and site messaging changes and ensuring consistency with cross-channel marketing.
• Use site analytics to analyze customer behavior and identify actionable insights.
• Leverage and embrace current eCommerce and analytics systems; participate in eCommerce platforming discussions helping to identify requirements and develop strategy for implementation/transition.
• Develop AB testing strategy.
• Regularly engage in competitive analysis.
Other/Special Requirements
• 8+ years work experience, with at least 4-5 years of e-commerce experience, ideally in a retail environment or in the areas of web content management/ site management/ content management systems for high traffic websites
• Experience in managing online marketing/ outreach campaigns. Good understanding of e-mail marketing best practices.
• Sound knowledge of e-commerce technology operations.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (Drupal, Magento, etc.)
• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills, web analytics/ copywriting skills a plus.
Qualifications:Graduation/ Post Graduation preferably in Marketing
Experience:8 to 10 yrs.
