Overview
Under the direct supervision of the Enterprise Quality Manager, the Business Process Manager is responsible for leading the effort to analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Duties include managing a Business Process Analyst and together identifying best business practices within the organization, collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity, and reduced cost. The candidate will be the lead for managing the development of process mapping and business process reengineering from start to finish working with leaders in the organization to analyze business process workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated. The candidate will lead process workshops with process owners and document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents. The Business Process Manager will be involved in documenting procedures and presenting new process designs using Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and CMMI continuous improvement tools and methodologies for stakeholders discussion. The Business Process Manager must be able to see the big picture, understand project objectives and be able to apply their understanding of how processes should work for operational improvement initiatives.
Must be on-site or available to be on-site during regular working hours. Working hours may routinely be based on US working hours to support interview of SME to develop process maps. Flexibility on workdays and times will be necessary to support overseas meetings, when necessary.
Responsibilities

Lead process redesign workshops with process owners using continuous improvement tools to identify issues and help to develop solutions
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs
Responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks
Analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Business Process Models, Data Flow Diagrams, System Process Models, RACIs, and Traceability Matrix.
Lead in monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance
Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
Responsibility over a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect multiple team members and departments
Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
Educating process owners responsible for managing and operating business processes on Vectrus Execution Model (VExM) standards and practices
Lead and design process flowcharts and swim lanes to more clearly articulate process flows
Assist in defining user requirements by working with/interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including developing/modifying processes
Ensures proper follow-ups with Document Owners so Process Documentation is processed through to the “published” state and does not sit unnecessarily in pending upload or coordination.
Provides additional support in the administration and maintenance of the QMS library, known as the Vectrus Execution Model (VExM)
Operates computer and uses desktop publishing software (Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Adobe) to produce templates, drafts, final drafts, and finished products of Process Mapping Documentation, incorporating graphics and spreadsheet charts into documents as needed.
Develops and maintains VExM process documentation as necessary.
Perform ad hoc analysis on strict deadlines.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a systems-related field preferred
ASQ/IRCA or any other accredited ISO 9001 certification preferred
Business Analyst Certificate from a recognized institution is preferred
Lean/Six Sigma Certification required
PMP Certification preferred
Experience:
Ten 10 years’ of relevant business analyst experience, 5+ years’ in a leadership role.
Experience supporting electronic Quality Management and Business Process Systems preferred.
Previous experience interacting professionally with a diverse group of customers, managers, and subject matter experts.
Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills
Specific experience in process analysis, documentation and mapping of Finance & Accounting, Human Resources Management and Enterprise Asset Management Systems will be an advantage
Quality Assurance, Continuous improvement, Agile, and Change Management experience preferred.

Ability to converse fluently in English with SMEs to develop detailed process maps, swim lane diagrams, RACI matrix and other organizational and process map documentation
Proficient in Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint & Power BI
Proficient in gathering statistical information and creating visual metrics using Excel and Power BI
An understanding of protocols like SOAP, WSDL, XML and other key protocols preferred.
Define user requirements by working with technical SMEs.
Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
May require a flexible work schedule and remote work-from-home, at times, to support global meetings
Requires long periods of sitting at a desk and working in front of a computer.
Supervisory/Budgetary Responsibilities
Supervise one Business Process Analyst.
