Your responsibilities
Will be responsible for understanding the requirements, design, and development of Libraries.
Update unit, system test cases and responsible for system test, regression, and release acceptance test execution.
Perform a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, which typically require the use of advanced and innovative techniques.
Serve as a subject matter expert to the project, provide guidance to colleagues and more junior team members, act as a mentor, and share lessons learned.
Represent own group/team in engineering and research forums, both internal and external to ABB.
Your background
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation, Electronics engineering, or related field.
Should have 5-8 years of experience.
Advanced knowledge of PLC IEC 61131-3 (ST is preferred). knowledge of C is favorable.
Basic Knowledge of Drives, HMI. Motion Control knowledge is favorable.
Machine commissioning experience is favorable.
Basic knowledge of Black and white Box testing.
Very strong with test case/test scenario development and process for ensuring complete test coverage.
Maintain systems by identifying and reporting defects.
Curious to learn and investigate new technologies.
Participate in sprint ceremonies to understand the development requirements.
Basics in design patterns and OOPs concepts.
Good communication Skills, Quick Learner, and Team Player.
