Your responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for developing power system network simulation models that will be deployed for hardware-in-loop test scenarios.
Must be able to understand the stakeholder requirements for a particular scenario and be able to translate it into a deployable model.
Must ensure that RTDS setup is properly maintained and give feedback / evaluate new requirements for system enhancement.
Must be able to provide support to R&D testers to execute test scenarios to meet deadlines/deliverables/milestones.
Must prepare related documentation for each system/scenario study/simulation and get them reviewed by stakeholders.
Updating task status to the reporting manager on a regular basis and give heads up on any risks.

Your background
Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 2 to 3 year experience as Power System Engineer.
Must have hands on experience working with various Power System Simulation tools like PSCAD, RSCAD/RTDS, Matlab, Simscape, etc.
Must have strong technical background and in-depth understanding of operational aspects of power systems – centralized systems, distributed energy resources, battery energy storage, etc.
Should have sound understanding of power electronic circuit simulation.
Must have basic understanding of power system protection philosophy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
