Job description
The Art Director is responsible for establishing and driving the visual art direction for the team, managing a staff of internal and external artists and overseeing the art creation pipeline.

The ideal candidate for this role much be conceptual, strategic and collaborative.
Additionally you need to be able to extract amazing thoughts and ideas from your creative teams.The ability to mentor creative, give clear direction and give constructive criticism is essential.
You should also be capable of crafting your own big ideas and experiences.
We are looking for candidates with exceptional craftsmanship, intellectual curiosity and someone with a focus on creating innovative work.
You must have an incredible creative reputation and nationally recognized work. All in all, you should know the difference between good and great and should have what it takes to work with a team to get there.
Work closely with clients and establish visual language for internal teams.
Direct internal teams towards the visual goals.
Manage client expectations related to art over the lifecycle of the project.
Develop and grow team capabilities.
Provide leadership and act as an advisor to help resolve complex design and technical challenges.
Manage external teams and deliverables to supplement internal art resources.
Set up and oversee art creation pipelines (large and small.)
Work independently on major design initiatives.
Oversee recruitment process in setting up a balanced team with a right mix of art skills.
Interaction with client and internal stakeholders on regular basis and escalate risks/issues in a timely manner.
Be actively involved in new business pitches with respect to ideation, execution and presentation.

Skills and Qualifications
An in-depth and impressive concept art portfolio showcasing a broad range of skills
overall experience of 8+ years in advertising.
Strong technical and communication skills.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator.
Knowledge of asset management best practices.
