Overview
The SAP FICO Solution Architect is part of the Strategy, Architecture & Innovation team and will work with the SAP CoE and business clients to design and implement solutions using standard SAP (On-Prem., Private / Public Cloud) as well as other systems interfaced with SAP to transform the SHS business process from ECC to S4 HANA.
Task and Responsibilities
Implementation and support of SAP Finance and Controlling processes by:
Collecting and documenting detailed requirements
Analysing requirements and designing solutions using SAP best practices
Developing To-be business process flows
Configuring Finance and Controlling modules and associated master data
Performing integration and system testing to ensure proper functioning of the solutions with the other modules
Preparing test scripts
Coordinating with the users to test the solutions
Developing business process documentation and user training manuals
Training the key users and end users
Implementing cross functional solutions by working with cross functional implementation team
Planning and coordinating cut-over activities for smooth transition
Performing data migration
Providing post Go-live support to the users
Preparing necessary documentation such as configuration, gap fit analysis, decisions taken
Developing functional specifications for development objects and working with the development team to deploy completed solutions
Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills
Education:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business informatics, business administration / similar area
Experience:
Experience in SAP S4 HANA Transformation projects
Experience in FICO specific topics including Central Finance and multiple SAP modules
SAP Consulting background preferred
Intercultural experience
Technical Skills:
Superior understanding of Microsoft (MS) tool landscape and expertise in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Planner, Teams, Sharepoint online
SAP ERP knowledge
Knowledge about SAP updates and upgrades
Knowledge about SAP Solution Manager
S4/HANA knowledge required
