Job Description
A media manager has to make sure a reliable marketing message is created and consolidates his/her position in a specific product segment A media manager must help his/her client to have the impact and influence He/She must keep him/her self up to date with media trends and keeps ahead of his/her competitors by ensuring company’s brand gets the best coverage in every media and has the most recall value among the customers Media managers may also have a web-based job and have to develop and maintain the company He/She has to coordinate with internal and external content managers, editors, designers, developers in order to meet his/her client’s needs, the company’s policies and based on that make a solid brand strategy He/She should make sure deadlines are met and must maintain schedules and targets He/She also has to make reports and market and present strategies to diverse audiences
Other/Special Requirements
Communication skills, like in any other media job, is essential in this field Good networking skills and interpersonal skills are also important He/She must also have technical knowledge, especially in electronic or new media Good managerial skills, understanding the use of diverse aspects of media, and creativity is also required He/She should be a team player and coordinate with different departments
Qualifications:Diploma in Media/Advertising, Mass Communication, MBA/Any Graduate
Experience:3 to 10 yrs.
