Eligibility
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science /Documentation Science or anequivalent professional degree with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalentgrade in a point scale wherevergrading system is followed) and aconsistently good academic recordwith knowledge of computerization oflibrary.ii. Qualifying in the national level testconducted for the purpose by theUGC or any other agency approvedby the UGC.iii. However, candidates, who are, orhave been awarded Ph. D. degree inaccordance with the “UniversityGrants Commission (MinimumStandards and Procedure for Award ofPh.D. Degree), Regulations 2009,shall be exempted from therequirement of the minimumeligibility condition ofNET/SLET/SET for recruitment.
