Job Profile/Description
Enhance revenue through direct sales w/advertising agencies and clients.
Create, maintain and enhance relationships with accounts in identified categories.
Develop relationships with business clients, in and out of present client categories.
Devise and deliver presentations to demonstrate the value of the Station’s dominating and specialized consumer market while referencing syndicated research data such as Nielsen, etc.
Optimise current agency and client relationships · Function strategically and tactically to position the Station to dominate the radio space.
Develop sales plans and goals by studying and understanding the station’s market and seek approval all sales promotion campaigns from the Sales Head·
Determine price schedules and discount rates in tandem with the Station Head and Sales Head.
Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.Monitor and analyse sales and marketing activity against goals.
Scan the environment to gain insights into competitor strategies, potential business opportunities and market trends
Other/Special RequirementsWork closely with the team leader on all matters related to the sale of airtime for the station.
