Responsibilities:
Build and manage the sales team – hire top talent, and provide guidance, mentorship, & growth.
Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure to sales cycles.
Own the strategy – shape and scale Udacity’s sales organizations.
Standardize the sales process with constant iterations for improvements
Analyze the market, build out the sales plan and execute – drive exponential revenue growth
Partner with marketing team to build the pipeline and close business
Partner with product team to continue building a superior product.
Standardize the sales engagement model.
Be responsible for driving sales for the enterprise sales channel for Udacity in India
Successfully enlist enterprises to adopt Udacity courses for their employees
Manage the sales activity of the team and track results.
Own sales pipeline, velocity, and forecast and report weekly.
Sell in a fashion that drives ROI for our customers and their employees
Own renewal and upsell across customers based on learning outcomes delivered
Requirements:
8+ years of experience selling technology services/products/consulting to Enterprises
Proven track record of managing and closing complex sales-cycles with Fortune 500 accounts
Proven track record of having scaled revenue drastically
Proven track record of having built and scaled sales teams
Proven track record of selling technically complex products
Experience selling subscription based licenses, retaining and upselling to customers
Strong customer references around customer passion, long term relationships and solving problems
Negotiate fiercely. Protect and nurture relationships
Comfortable with autonomy and uncertainty
Get things done
Must be willing to travel
Passion for education
MBA from a top tier college with preferably an engineering bachelor’s degree
