Job Profile/Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the bridge that links the technical and business worlds together to design solutions that meets our clients’ needs and in line with our goals, mission and vision. You will execute business strategies, influence decisions, analyse market trends, impart innovative ideas, identify future opportunities and manage relationships with key and prospective clients. You will work closely with a team of like-minded professionals (the think tank of the Company) in order to deliver the best-fit solutions for our clients in various industries.
Enhance BAG Networks’ reputation as a solution provider.
Build new relationships with prospective clients and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
Explore and develop opportunities to increase business growth through comprehensive research and identifying industry trends.
Gathering of client intelligence and executing strategies to meet their needs.
Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
Developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Work closely with the team members on opportunities management; closely monitor performance and business reporting to CEO.
Lead as Bid Manager for proposals; contribute and coordinate all aspects of the proposal components to ensure high quality commercial bid responses and timely submission.
Establishes annual budget and sales targets; keeps track of financial standing to ensure financial and sales targets are achieved at the department and the organisational level.
Continuous up-skilling by updating job knowledge and lead by example, by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisational trainings.
Other/Special Requirements
Bachelor Degree in any related field.
At least 7 years’ experience of sales and business development experience in similar industry
Strong knowledge in Solution Development with at least 5 years’ experience in full System Delivery Life Cycle.
Good technical skills and familiar with major ERP solutions.
Strong connections with companies and industries with sales potential.
Strong and effective written, oral communication and presentation skills. Being able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu would be an advantage.
Confident, influential, charismatic and trustworthy with the strong ability to build and foster relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a multicultural environment.
Ability to equilibrate priorities and organise work effectively to meet deadlines.
Ability to drive revenue growth and solid sales pipeline.
