What we’re looking for
Good working knowledge of one or two of Analytics software – SAS, Python, SQL, R, Access.
Desirable – knowledge in one of the BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, SAP Analytics Cloud.
Good understanding of analytical model & AI/ML techniques (Regression, Forecasting, Classification algorithms, Decision trees, etc).
Should have experience in building analytical dashboards/reporting (Experience in Finance domain is desirable).
Should have sound working experience in Excel functions/formulae & macros.
Ability to formulate business problems into analytical problems, build hypothesis, identify/filter appropriate data for the analysis.
Understand Data science, data mining concepts and should have worked in 1-2 data science projects.
Ability to handle large & complex datasets. Should have good working knowledge of data joins, data blending and data validation processes.
Should have experience in handling variety of data structures.
Ability to engage with stakeholders, understand their requirements and design best possible solution frameworks.
Build project plans, assist in building data dictionaries, approach documents & analytical/reporting presentations.

Qualification
Master in Statistics/Computer Science/Mathematics/Economics/Econometrics/Data Science.
Graduation in Statistics/Computer Science/Data Science with relevant experience in Analytics/Reporting/data mining.
Should have good verbal & written communication skills.

May require evening and or weekend work
