Your role in our mission
Design and develop end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions using MS BI tool suite (SQL Server 2016 and higher, SSAS, SSIS, Power BI).
Build, modify, and deploy SSIS projects to ingest, transform, and output data for use in BI reporting.
Ingest and organize healthcare data from a variety of data sources for use in Power BI datasets and dashboard development.
Evaluate and drive data processing efficiency for large-scale deployments.
Assist with SQL Server migration from on-prem to AWS cloud deployment.
Assist with user provisioning and administration of Azure AD tenant.
Perform complicated analyses to extract learnings and drive insights to improve BI reporting.
Perform technical walk-throughs of coded solutions to the functional areas.
Develop, drive, and ensure adherence to BI standards for the functional area.
Analyze healthcare business requirements to determine gaps and recommend BI solutions.
Understand, articulate, and convert business requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor junior level BI developers.
Track, report, and act on appropriate metrics for IT efforts across the portfolio.
Work with key business leaders to ensure alignment of business and technology.
What we’re looking for
Senior level understanding of warehousing architectures including ETL design, staging, transformations, delta/change data capture, star-schemas, cubes, and history loading.
Demonstrated experience leveraging ETL frameworks (SSIS, Databricks) to develop scalable solutions. Design and develop ETL pipelines, configuration files, stored procedures, tables, views, and functions.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (2016 and higher), SSIS, and SSAS.
Demonstrated success in delivering BI reporting solutions utilizing a variety of data sources.
Experience with migration of BI tools and data sources to new platforms (e.g, On-Prem to AWS, SQL Server to Databricks) a plus.
Has significant, current knowledge of multiple database technologies including SQL Server, Databricks, Oracle.
Demonstrated knowledge of SSIS reusability, parameterization, and workflow design.
Has significant, current knowledge of cloud-managed services for data warehousing/analytics in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Strong SQL query skills in SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
Knowledge of Power BI a plus.
Experience working in an agile team environment. Understanding of code promotion, code turnover to operations, version control, and QA procedures.
Knowledge of BI best practices for scalability, performance, content management and governance.
Project and program management planning and organizational skills in an Agile environment.
Ability to effectively balance multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience
8+ years’ experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise BI reporting solutions.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft BI technologies (SQL Server 2016 and higher, SSIS, SSAS tabular modeling DAX skills, and Power BI)
Experience and/or desire to work in cloud environment (e.g., AWS)
